What’s Darumatcha?

French wife loves “Daruma” and Japanese husband loves “Matcha(Green tea)”.
So the name is “Darumatcha” !

We renovate a 50 year old abandoned house ourselves.

We both don’t have much knowledge nor experiences about renovating. We felt a bit sad about the fact that there are a lot of abandoned houses in Japan, and they are all getting demolished. So we decided to save one and renovate it ourselves. When we renovate, we try to keep the original atmosphere of the house as much as possible. We do our best to give the house a beautiful second life.

We fight on the number of followers.

We both are not really SNS people, but we want people to know what we do. So the wife is working on instagram and the husband is working on Twitter. The winner will get fancy dinner so please support the one you prefer!
